We use Vonage for our 800 number. Haven't noticed anything fishy on the bill :).

I have VoIP down here in Costa Rica in order to have a US number, I use Packet8

I have used Vonage since they came out never noticed anything out of the ordinary

I've got Vonage as well. Considering moving more to Skype since I am constantly on the move.

I've seen some US Vonage customers paying between $6 and $8 more per month for some service charges and taxes that Vonage has slowly been adding in the past few months

No need to change carrier's, just bring the phone adapter with you

I have Vonage, it works perfectly well and it's been ~$39/m for about 2 years now.

For the international plan right?

Been with Primus for three years now. Never had a problem, never had extra charges. No setup fees, no network fees or anything. I pay $35/m (tax in).

Anyone else?

I have Optimum Voice through Cablevision's Optimum Online. No complaints here.

What about people who aren't using it?

got it - never use it, skype lots cause voip here is down a lot
