The Police Reunion starts in a few minutes

YARGH! Stewart Copeland on Drums. Not sure who the other two assholes are but watch it!

Shoehorn! 02-11-2007 06:03 PM

Wathcing it now you fruitcake bastard.

By the way, if you think that is awesome, download some Oysterhead. It's Les Claypool, Trey Anastasio and Stewart Copeland. It'll make you johnson erect with musical pleasure.

It sounded pretty decent but it seemed like they were holding back for some reason. They did Roxanne :Oh crap and went into a little jam in the middle section. Stewart was playing really tame considering the guy is an animal on the hats.

Oh well I'm sure the announcement they're making tomorrow is for the World Tour. That will be a good show.

Damn I hope so. My first concert was The Police Synchronicity Tour at the Orange Bowl in Miami...it was in October of 1983. I was almost 10 at the time and my uncle took me. Funny thing is. REM opened up for them, but neither my uncle or I had heard of them so we skipped the opening act.

Kick ass, nothing like starting out your first concert experience with the best :thumbsup The funny thing is if Joan Jett had opened we probably would have watched, as I was a fan then and still am. We honestly didn't know who REM was and sat out in the concession area where I experienced another first, my first beer ( i was with my cool Uncle who was maybe in his early 20's at the time).

I love Rush, but I never did get to see them live. I can remember the EPIC debates we would have in high school about who was the best drummer, and I would argue Neil Peart until I lost my voice. I would love to read his book...he lost his wife and his 19 year old daughter in something like a 7-10 month period a few years back.

Great performance by the Dixie Chicks on the Grammy awards...

Yeah great book. Ghost Rider. Highly recoomend it. His most recent (Roadshow) is really good too. Traveling Music was kinda lame though.

Chio The Pirate 02-11-2007 09:21 PM

PS the new Rush album is coming out pretty soon. The first single (Far Cry) will be released in early March with a tour to follow! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
