Can you take a mini Dvd Camera and set it up to do.. live web cam shows? If so what would be the easiest way to go by doing this? What software etc.. Thanks for the help!

depends on the cam and what outputs it has

does it have coaxial outputs? if so, then plug it into your video capture card and you are good to go

it has a svideo av and firewire this isnt the camera I use to shoot our content with this is just a basic jvc 680k mini dv it was just given to me

get an s-video cable and run it from your cam to the video capture card

Yepp, you can use any DV, DVD or HD cam. All you need is a good capture card.

if you want to stream wmv you can use windows media encoder and firewire. dont need a capture card.
