An observation about Dell and Mac users...
 

You're both dumb lol.

Since I've started in computer sales I've never had so many laughs as I've had since selling to Mac and Dell users.

"Hi, I have a Dell, what cds work on my Dell? I paid a lot of money for my Dell" or "Hi.. does this mouse work on a Dell" etc etc

"Hey.. I have a mac that I paid a lot of money for, is it compatible with the internet?"

I'm not fucking kidding you. Literally it's questions like that from these users all day lol. Girl Mac users are hot though.. and I don;t mind educamating them ;)

Guess who will spend more money though, smart people or dumb people? :) Secondly, at least for Mac users if you know what you want to do and you know the Mac OS and software available it's a good choice for certain professions and tasks...

Someone I know just dropped $4k on a Mac.. their plans? Mostly to play WoW.

Course, they were previously an Alienware user.. So I think they just like overpaying for things.

When I was in the computer distribution & retailing business, I'd get questions like "Will that printer work with my computer though? It's a DELL you know..."

They always seemed to say it with such concern and pride of their piece of crap DELL, that a Canon printer might BEFOUL their damned computer.

Sigh...

Do we expect the average Joe to know fuck all about memory, hard drives, cpu's and wot not? I guess some people have better things to do then educate themselves about the world of computers, and who can blame them.

It is both hilarious and quite sad at the same time...

You know why you deal with idiots like that all day long? because anybody who has any slight idea about computers don't go to computer salesmen or the like for any information about their computer they look it up themselves...

i buy my machines from the dude down the street..supercheap...they are good enough...anything happens i can handle it...it is almost the same as making your own

I am on a Dell laptop now so I won't post in this thread until I am in the office on one of my Compaq's. Dell isn't compatible with GFY.

nothing wrong with honest work, if you want to be the top salesman its very simple assume they know nothing and teach them,also use the most simple terms possible. Most computer salesman tend to be arrogant assholes.Was watching once this old lady trying to buy a computer she was asking questions and the guy was rolling his eyes.The lady walked out .
