LCD doesnt suffer from burn in like Plasma but LCD's over 46" look like crap. Cheap 42" LCD's look worse too. But a good 42" lcd or any lcd smaller is better. If you want 50" you have to go plasma.

Those Sammys (dunno about toshiba) seem to be the best ones right now, but I want something 60" that doesnt suffer from burn-in. So I'm not buying now.

Guess you don't have a cell phone with a lcd screen on them, they do get burn in.

Plasma has a brighter picture then a lcd.

my vote for LCD

gornyhuy 02-11-2007 06:07 PM

My LCD seems to be missing a small color range in gray areas. It pisses me off when I'm doing design work and I go look at it on a CRT and its different.
Any advice?

Fap 02-11-2007 06:23 PM

The TVs themselves look great. You should feed it some HD signal though.
