forums (domains and in general) = lowballers
auctions = good for seller (esp if you can set a reserve price) |
how does sedo.com work
like ebay? |
definitely spamming the shit out of forums, make sure you know your domain is worth 1.5 million dollars, and stick to it...
|
Good question. I'm selling HockeyStore com still and my strategy is to contact "profile" buyer and invite them to a third party auction site.
My question is..... Who has the best domain auction site? ebay has a listing price plus a few points on the sale. Sedo is free to list and 10% of sale price. Afternic is USD$ Then you have Moniker's silent auction and domain conferences for investors? |
There really is no good way to sell a domain name.
Auctions aren't bad though. If you want to get in on their live domain auctions, signup here http://www.moniker.com :thumbsup |
long time ago a friend sold a domain worth 5k tops for 100k using a 350 dollar ad in usa today, a business guy reading the usa today or ny times will shell out more then the domain name expert online
try it if its adult just write in the ad domain name for sale blah blah have em call an 800 number to get more info, before the ad hits dont tell em that its adult or 90% it wont get listed depending whos approving ads that day |
