Liondollars Shaving?

I dunno if it is just me, but this is not the first time this has happened. I got a sale with liondollars, worth $30 in stats remote yesturday. Today I wake up and now statsremote tells me I got a sale with liondollars worth $0.

I do an all time check with statsremote, and have 53 sales, but the worth of those sales is only $840? I only promote links that make $30 per sale, so I thought 53 sales would be worth $1,590.

I have sent their support an email last week and still have no reply.

Are they shaving? Are they chargebacks? What the hell.

Does anyone else have this problem? or am I alone with this?

CaptainHowdy 02-10-2007 11:53 AM

bump for you

Pimpin_J 02-10-2007 12:13 PM

Dont think they are shaving! StatsRemote doesnt show you the total income for a certain day from one sponsors! It shows you month income/daily percentage = ST output. Hope you can follow me.

madawgz 02-10-2007 12:20 PM

ive made money with them, they arnt shaving

liondollars is a good company :thumbsup

Agent 488 02-10-2007 12:21 PM

do a test sign up.

Jman 02-10-2007 12:29 PM

Useless thread title if you can't back it up IMHO.

Back what up? Maybe you missed the "?" in the title. He wasn't saying they are shaving. He's asking if they are based on what he's experienced with them.

sherie 02-10-2007 01:11 PM

There are many ways to contact someone without starting a thread like this. As said earlier in the thread about statsremote, there is one reason. Log into your LionDollar account and check there. Did you even do that before posting this thread? Did you do an all time check in your Lion Dollars account? It would seem as though you haven't.

I have been sending traffic there for years and have not had any issue's that weren't resolved immediately.

They could be having technical issue's, who know's. But dude, before making a thread with the word "shave" in it, you really should exhaust all ways of communication beforehand. Sending an email to support a week ago is not exhausting those avenues.

KrisKross 02-10-2007 01:39 PM

Did you bother to login to your actual LionDollars account and check what the stats say in there?

WarChild 02-10-2007 01:41 PM

Stats remote often behaves in strange ways. Sales for no dollars. Multiple sales and hits appearing, then dissapearing. It happens on more than just one program in my experience.

I was wondering this also. Anyone who has used Statsremote for any amount of time knows that it screws up sometimes and needs to be reset.

WiredGuy 02-10-2007 02:11 PM

Never rely on a third party to deliver anything more than an indication of your sales. Before making an accusation as serious as this, try logging into LionDollars directly to check the sales yourself for accuracy.

LionDollars are good people.
Have a talk with them and I am sure they will sort it out for you.

ROFLMMFFWAO

You got to be kidding me right.

Title could of said LionsDollars/Statsremote stats problem.

Why the FUCK did he have to put the word shave in the title of this post.

Fucking Morons :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

CTB and liondollars are solid people. Sometimes these things happen, and the first thing that pops into my head isn't always shaving. I know we often refund signups that are obvious fraud or very risky, and the sales numbers remain. Before a thread like this you really should contact ctb or one of the ld team.

Agent 488 02-10-2007 03:06 PM

programs don't shave. that's fucking bullshit.

exactly. you could have also used barber, brush, clip, crop, cut, cut back, cut down, decorticate, graze, kiss, knock off, make bare, pare, peel, plane, prune, shear, shingle, shred, skim, skin, skive, slash, slice thin, sliver, strip, touch, or trim.

pornguy 02-10-2007 03:52 PM

When stats remote does that, try logging into the programs stats, before you start a thread like this.

Bro Media - BANNED FOR LIFE 02-10-2007 03:56 PM

So Fucking Banned.

Doctor Dre 02-10-2007 03:57 PM

madawgz you're fucking acting ignorant.

I'm sending many sales a day to a program (beeing their #1 affiliate) and I'm still wondering if they are shaving my ass.

No way you can prove they shave or don't shave without trying a bunch of test signups in many different circonstances (geo targeting etc etc).

XMaster 02-10-2007 04:00 PM

statsremote might be wrong. did you check program stats ?

yeah i know what you mean

i get a constant number of signups per day and i flip around sponsors all the time, getting the same number of signups on liondollars as i would on another affiliate program

i feel paranoid just like you all the time lol, always wondering...

Nysus 02-10-2007 04:09 PM

Why do people get worked up when someone starts a thread about possibility of someone shaving? It's a legitimate concern / question. Obviously any sponsor whether they shave or Not are going to say they don't; there could be a valid reason for a sale showing and disappearing, so of course contacting the sponsor is handy.. anyway.

It's a pretty big deal to call the integrity of a program into question.

I think its more that the basis for the shaving question was the reporting of a 3rd party program ... stats remote has their own way of doing things, programs can't be responsible for that. After all, its the programs data, they shouldn't have to tecnically support a 3rd party program that is taking their data and displaying it in their own format.

I just sms'd toyboy who will be here soon (although give him 5 as he's probably having a sunday morning quickie!!! ... or 2 ... lol )

And what Brad says is right folks... with Brad and Z and myself in different timezones, there is ALWAYS someone around for you to hit up.

Unlike some I welcome threads like these, because unlike others, we have NOTHING to hide and love the opportunity to chime on in and fly the flag.

How many others AVOID the hard issues and questions ?

LionDollars don't.

CuriousToyBoy 02-11-2007 02:33 AM

I'm often surprised there is not more talk of this here on GFY...Certainly on the TGP boards this is discussed in much more direct language. But mention the "s" word here and the Politburo will descend pretty quickly to discredit even the possibility of shaving. Speculation about shaving amongst webmasters in a situation where they are not privy to any real accounting info is acceptable.

Just as a matter of record...Have I been shaved by some of the major programs that are represented on GFY, yeah I have. Has there been software sold to programs that enables shaving, hell yeah. Are most affiliates dumb as posts to accept it as business as usual....well who knows.

My advice to anyone worried about shaving is start your own paysites.

All this aside tho the original poster should not rely on Stats Remote as any indication of foul play...Despite what I have said there are a lot of on the level programs out there.

Nice, logical and well presented post IMHO.

Key word you used ..... SPECULATION.
