Whats San Francisco like in Oct?
Never been before, and I'll be flying over from the UK to be best man at a mate's wedding.
Can you recommend anything I should get up to there? :winkwink: |
It could be very nice. We usually have our best weather in the September - October timeframe.
What are you into? There is plenty of tourist stuff to do... Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, Castro, Haight, Fisherman's Wharf. Hit me up on ICQ, 345035372, and I would be glad to help. |
You will have a blast! September and October are the best times of year to come.
There is also Golden Gate Park there is tons of stuff inside the park area and its HUGE, The Cliff House and Ocean Beach area is nice too |
Yep..summer in SF comes in september-october...gorgeous.

BTW, if you are in the Bay Area on October 27th, you'll have to check out the Exotic Erotic Ball - well worth the price of your trip all by itself...this past year I had 15 models at my booth...crazy fun!!! ADG Webmaster |
ADG, sounds great! Shame the wedding is on the 5th, as the ball sounds fecking awesome.

A few examples: Farallon has great food and an excellent wine list. Ruby Skye is a WAY fun nightclub. The SF MOMA - Museum of Modern Art, is a piece of art in itself, and generally has great exhibitions. Plus, on my one-day tour, you hit all of the tourista destinations - Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Cruise, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Hard Rock, Lombard Street, Palace of Fine Arts, Ghiradelli Chocolate, and the funky neighborhoods (Union Street, the Castro, the Haight), as well as the Strip Clubs/Massage Parlors and other such establishments (if you're into that) - hitting them all at their best times and by-passing most traffic. The Bay Area also features many other excellent places of interest, such as the Tech Museum in San Jose, wine country in Napa Valley (I know wineries that have the best wines and tours), and fascinating and scenic Monterey (the huge Monterey Bay Aquarium is awesome), as well as many other spots off the tourist path depending upon your interests. Why do I do this? Because I love to travel too, and love having locals as guides... :winkwink: E-mail me if you are interested. ADG Webmaster |
