Anna Nicole - Tragic Death or 'She had it coming?'

Me and a few mates had a heated debate this evening about this - I think its a tragic story - the others think it was, and I quote, "some trailor trash that got in above her head and couldnt cope'.

Jace 02-09-2007 04:33 PM

she was fun to watch on tv and all, but I was not personally involved with her so I have no idea if it was a tragic death or she had it coming

the only way I can judge something like that is to know the person first hand

Sebastian Sands 02-09-2007 04:46 PM

We all have it coming.. sooner or later.

Thats a good answer - but I think anyone who dies at 39 - especially someone who had those looks and brains (nobody can argue with that?) should die at that that age.

She had it all ahead of her - if she won the billions or not - I cant help feeling sad. Her antics always brightened my day :)

You live that kind of lifestyle for so long, that kind of lifestyle that eventually leads to taking your son's own life… Then by learning nothing from that experience and choosing to continue the same pattern of drug abuse, it eventually takes your own life. It was hardly tragic by any stretch of the imagination. You reap what you sow.

well, I am more along the line of thought that everyone dies when they are meant to...we all have a purpose, once we have fulfilled that purpose we move on to whatever is next...it was just her time

Am I the only one that feels a little bit sad?

Most of us wrote off the fact that her son died in such a terrible way/time - for her anyway.

She was a mother of a 20 year old who died as she gave birth to his sister - I expect she realised that if she hadnt intrduced him to that lifestyle he would still be alive.

That poor sad cow.....

Lykos 02-09-2007 06:30 PM

Modern Monroe V2 maybe.

Well at least it would give us something to talk about other than the bloody war.

I dont suppose she shagged a Kenedy did she?

or a "Bush" - now that would be a story!!

You watch the news much? Autopsy found NO sign of Drug Abuse. Cut out the false assumptions just cos u didn't like her media persona :2 cents:

HeadPimp 02-10-2007 10:30 AM

How about these two options:

"Who cares"
"Great! Now we won't have to listen to her being stupid any more!"

Sarah_Jayne 02-10-2007 04:26 PM

'had it coming' sounds like she was a serious criminal...she wasn't the finest example of humanity but I think that would be a bit far

Uh huh. So the fucking cunt never took drugs before this huh? She didn't pop em' in like candy? It was her drug abuse that led to this point. Her actions in life led directly to the death of her son and herself. All actions have repercussions and her life ended because of the actions and choices SHE made in life.

thebossxxx 02-10-2007 08:13 PM

this is a sad story no doubt and Noone deserves to die like that even with a drug problem...:(

RawAlex 02-10-2007 11:12 PM

short answer yes, long answer no with a but....

DaddyHalbucks 02-10-2007 11:16 PM

She lived life in the fast lane.

Wow - She wasn't an ax murderer. She was a mess - yes. But holding her responsible for her adult son's drug overdose death? She was devastated with grief. Sad - definitely sad.

Yes, she was responsible for her son's overdose. Children learn the habits of their parents. Bad parents will almost always certainly lead to children growing up and becoming bad adults. The cycle is vicious and repeats itself. She deserved everything she got in life. *everything*

JaneB 02-11-2007 10:25 PM

It is easy to sit here and judge her. We do not even know her, only what we have seen on tv or read. She was not responsible for her son's death. He was on anti depressants and her lawyer is the one that gave her son methadone. That would make the lawyer responsible. I doubt you all lead a perfect life, so stop judging other people.

You don't know what she did in her life. How would you know she popped pills like candy? Were you there to see this happen? You have no idea what caused her death. They found no pills in her stomach. Her son was on anti depressants. You do not know it was because of his mom. A lot of people take those drugs and I doubt their parents are always the cause. You always have a lot of asshole opinions on things.
