Tgp Info For Noob?

Hello Bitches-

After extensive research in the Bat Cave I have decided my first act in the "word censored" industry would be to slowly establish a TGP. I Just wanted to know a few things.

1) I understand text based tgp is a method for higher convert ratio as where thumbs based tgp will generate more traffic (source gfy.com 2004 tgp ,zugunndam)
Is this still applicable today? Can any one affirm this?

2)I spent a total so far 145.00 on a Kickass Cartoon (Dominick from Nitro) and 6 months of 2100 GB of Bandwidth transfer.

3)Being a cheap bastard or Learning to stretch the Dollar as some within this industry have illustrated - Should i

1)Go all out for a commercial script

2)Use a free script

3)Do the shit by hand for now

*-

And depending on chocie which scripts would you recommend

Thanks in Advance Bitches, Have a Great Week-End

This is a nice one to start with. It requires html and scripting knowledge though. Actually if you are going to get into tgp's you should have that anyway... imho

I'd try a free script first

looks good my friend, but i hope you're not using servage.net as your hosting provider with a thumb based tgp...

i was just over 3500 uniques in one day (+about 2500 or so more from other sites), with a thumb tgp and they threatened to shut down my account cuz i was using 2 many resources...

just my thoughts.....

lol I'm ^^^

WTF, All I thought They Would Do Is Close The Site For The Month If The Bandwidth Exceeds.

Thanks for The Head Up- Looks Like Its Web Air or DreamHost

One more thing

1)have a specific niche?
2) A general tgp= general traffic not much sales?
3)A tgp with specific niche categories?

Thanks

Dreamhost will do the same as Servage.

Hosts pay their bandwidth providers around 15 cents per gig. There's way a company can be profitable if they give you 2100 gigs for $10. So instead, their terms have "server resource usage" clauses. The higher your traffic, the higher your use of server resources. Use up too much (typically ~ 1-2%) and they'll can you.
