Do you keep icq logs?
 

I don't by default. That gets to be a LARGE db if I try to save all that. Anything that I feel might be important down the road I ctrl+c to a text file. During the week I just leave all relevant chats I have going on about business minimized, then clean them up on Sunday.

Just curious what others do.

Yes, It's good to have them to refer back to anything I might need. It especially comes in handy when people try to screw you out of money. lol

I save every log and every email of every communication since 2003

as for large files, um, hard drives are cheap man, you can get a 750gb on now for $320

Well I DO actually save all my important emails. I fucking refuse to waste HD space just to keep track of me and Boy Alley cybering. I refuse.

The last 2 years of my trillian logs are only 192mb, and I thought that was huge.

Hardly makes a dent in my overall hd space.

My outlook is far larger, but if I emptied the deleted I am sure it would be not that bad, years of spam in the deleted folder adds up, lol

jeez, I know, that 16mb of space must weight your system down so much

btw, you can turn off logging on people if you don't wanna save the logs

I do :) I have a TERRIBLE memory...so I have to.

Don't use it a lot so i just save all my history so I know what I talked to who about...
