quick question about design

When I put everything inside a table because I want the page look about the same for every surfer, then what should/could I use as maximum width of that table?

600-700 pixels is probably something that every surfer will see in his browser without having to scroll right.

How about 800 pixels? Or 1000? First I'm no designer and second I havent been following the trends so I cannot tell if some people still browse with less than 800 pixels in width?

Thx

You could use table width % instead of pixels.

:winkwink:

Between 7 & 800. That's where I keep it. You can do 800 and people will still be able to see it with no problem.

yea, 760 should be max but he also has to add MARGINWIDTH="0" and LEFTMARGIN="0" in the body tag
