Sorry, but I hate the "the program is responsible for one person's actions" approach.

If the program owners come and state that their program has a statement to make, then I can judge that program one way or another.

But I hate it when I tell someone they're an idiot and they immediately decide to go after the company in my sig for it. My antics are my own unless the company backs it.

Those programs don't deserve any ill will unless they come to GFY to endorse or do the same as what their representative does.

I agree with that but only to a certain extent. If a program hires a known thief and scumbag with no knowledge of the industry he's working for, then I question their business values as well as their business ethics/morals.

This, to me, isn't about simple antics. It's not like he got a little drunk and and made a complete ass of himself or made some off-the-cuff remarks about someone else on the forum. Hell, I'm not even all that bothered by his latest "marketing" ploy. What cheeses me off is that the guy has stolen from many in this industry through charity scams and affiliate programs. He has screwed over people I am friends with and people I have done business with. He has fucked over his own friends. And yet people choose to ignore that.

What kind of logic is that?..HE REPRESENTS THE COMPANIES..hes a paid employee of these companies..those companies made the decision to have him speak on their behalf, what he says REFLECTS on those companies.

For whatever reason people in this industy think they can say anything they want on a message board and they are supposed to get a pass because they are just a "Board Personality" or because this board is named GFY...thats the biggest load of shit ever!

As much as I think Ramos is a waste of air, I won't stop promoting Hundies and APC because of him. I was promoting them before he came along.

No, I said in THAT hypothetical situation, I'd expect the pilot to be canned immediately. A pilot making racial slurs over the intercom system on a plane is a world apart from an affiliate rep using tasteless and poor judgment on GFY.
