LOL, I'm going to have to work in an office for at least 6 months when I finish school. It will be the first time in 12 years. I'm working up a contract that allows me to wear tshirts, pj bottoms and bring at least 1 dog ;)

I'm thinking to myself "When am I going to go to the doctor? The hairdresser? Grocery shopping?". I have a feeling after 3 months I'll be looking for a way to start my own company doing the same and working from home :)

AdPatron 02-08-2007 12:15 PM

It was filmed here in Dallas.

Jakke PNG 02-08-2007 12:16 PM

Office environment would suit me just fine, if I'd be the annoying boss who tells you to work weekends. But work for someone else? No thanks.

Sosa 02-08-2007 12:18 PM

lol no kidding.

96ukssob 02-08-2007 12:19 PM

fuck, i hate working in an office. the only plus is i get to work on some of my stuff and post during the day :winkwink:

having a boss that thinks you want to work for him 24/7 and will just hand over anything to him so he can make money... SUCKS!

The Sultan Of Smut 02-08-2007 01:12 PM

The biggest joke in the movie is that it's not a joke, my last corporate job job almost mimiced it...

Agent 488 02-08-2007 01:23 PM

i'd hit it.

Lacerto 02-08-2007 01:31 PM

I work in an office right now... its all about how much weed you can smoke and porn you can look at while working.

Not if you can somehow get into the entertainment biz and become rich and famous... that's better than being a webmaster.

It's not like an office job is the only choice.

EscortBiz 02-08-2007 03:41 PM

great posts because its so fuckin true I come from that world

Vendot 02-08-2007 03:42 PM

i would assume that most webmasters dont have the speical spark to become celebrities (juicy exception) .

some even in this thread said how they worked in that enviroment. therefore the averga charachter is that of an office guy. only my 2 cents though!

Dirty D 02-08-2007 03:51 PM

Good movie :) But there's no way I could work in a place like that!
It's all about finding the right office environment...no dress code, set your own hours, nobody breathin down your back all day, relaxed...it's the only reason I took an office job again :)

madawgz 02-08-2007 05:09 PM

it sure is a good movie :)

nope saw it ages ago, yet i have the expeierce now to realise what a gem it was.

dynastoned 02-08-2007 06:17 PM

i never really had a problem with my office job. i pretty much did the same shit i do now. i'd do all my work in about an hours time in the morning. then id work on my sites, play phone tag with the cute receptionists, drink beer at lunch, and get paid while doing it.

so basically i worked 5 hours a week, drank beer, fucked the help, and got paid 40 hours a week to work on my own business. can't see how it gets any better then that. not to mention the perks of the sales reps trying to get our business. i handled all the purchasing so i got all the free lunches, free raiders, a's, and kings tix, and the occasional fishing trip to san francisco.
