How godaddy can have info domain for just one 1$?
 
I was just notice godaddy charge info domains just for 1$.How can they be so cheap?Is that maybe just promo so after one year it will returned to regular prize?

The wholesale cost on .INFO was $0 at one point because the promoters wanted to increase .INFO registrations and make that extension more widely used and accepted. What it is now I have no idea, but it can't be too high.

Also, the value of a new customer to GoDaddy is probably a decent figure. GoDaddy upsells like crazy with software, hosting, certs, etc..

The cozy relationship between ICANN and VERISIGN means there is a high wholesale cost for .COM (roughly $6). This is why .COM is so expensive.
