Too Late to Start a Link List?

Since before I have been in the adult biz, I have always liked link lists. To this day, I still check out Tommy's or Jay's when I want to surf some free porn. For one reason or another I never started a linklist myself. Is it too late? Do people still submit freesites?

Make sure your linking strategy follows the recent Google Algo ("GB" algo--ie., anti-Google Bomb algo).

Not at all. Great opportunity to create text rich pages...

Looks like greenguy's list gets anything
from 65 to 85 new submissions daily.

Question; if I have a paysite and no affiliate program does linklist owners still list you if I have a link on the warning page to them??

:) :)

From what I have seen, many will assuming you have some free content within the tour.

First off - I can tell you that you are only seeing about a tenth of the "new submissions" that get listed - the rest get declined or banned because of not following the rules - which leads us to your second question

The 1. rule on greenguys listings page - "I only list Free Sites (warning page leads to main page leads to gallery pages) No galleries, no pay sites, no avs sites."

If you want to get good traffic from link lists - you need to build free sites advertising your paysite - they are easy to do yourself
(Do NOT Outsource this task as most outsourcing companies have no clue how to build a free site and will also get you declined)

Since most link lists basically have the same rules as greenguy this would apply to a high percentage of the out there

Check out the one i've just made, link in sig :)

THanks all for the clarifications.

I guess it had been nuts if they accepted 1 page paysite tours without content, but damn I could have made some good money. :upsidedow

I guess it's "back to basics" and submitting freesites with good content.

:2 cents:

It's never too late to start a linklist as long as search engine algos don't change dramatically...it will take a long time to compete with the big guys, but it's not impossible. As long as SEO for google means content on a specific topic with quality outbound links and shitloads of inbound links, linklists are a perfect way to attract search engine traffic.
