EASY way to TRANSFER movies from HD DVR to PC hard drive ?????
 

I want to be able to transfer recorded TV programs from my DVR to my PC for later viewing/burning/editing.

I don't want to wirelessly stream to my PC via a home network or whatever.

I don't want to have to recapture the video with a tuner card as this will be slow as shit and reduce quality.

I don't want to have to remove the DVR hard drive and fuck around with it.

I don't want to burn directly from DVR to a DVD recorder as that will also reduce quality.

Am I shit outta luck at the moment?

How bout an external hard drive plugged into the DVR or are DVR formats not compatible with PC formats?

You wont get any faster than that.

If you use Tivo, just download TivoToGo from the web site. That is the only one that I know of that has this feature. I use it all the time.
