++RegisterFly finally gets the heave ho from Enom++
Rejoice, rejoice, all that bullshit RegFly engaged in finally comes home to roost for one of the all-time worst Registrars (NSI wrote the manual and is forever top of the list)
http://www.enom.com/migrate/faq.asp -------- This is a formal notice to owners of domains which have been registered through eNom via its reseller, RegisterFly.com. YOU MUST TAKE ACTION NOW TO RETAIN FULL MANAGEMENT RIGHTS TO YOUR DOMAIN NAME. Although you purchased your name at RegisterFly, eNom is the actual registrar of record for your domains. As we are severing our relationship with RegisterFly, we are aware that this may have an impact on you as the domain owner. Therefore we would like to offer this opportunity to assist you in securing control of your domain name directly with eNom. Over the last year, eNom has become aware of an increasing number of complaints from dissatisfied RegisterFly customers. As an eNom reseller, RegisterFly is contractually bound to adhere to certain standards of customer service in a speedy and diligent manner. Therefore, effective immediately, we have terminated RegisterFly as a reseller of domain names through eNom. Our records indicate that you are the registrant contact for 1 domains. HOW TO SECURE CONTROL OF YOUR DOMAIN NAMES Create a free account at eNom using the link below. Your domain names will automatically be moved to the eNom control panel where you will immediately have the ability to manage your domain(s). In addition, these domains will receive a discounted renewal rate. <link removed> There is no charge for this service, as eNom is already the registrar of record for your domains. Please reference our list of frequently asked questions page http://www.enom.com/migrate/faq.asp for additional information. We look forward to helping you feel more secure about your domain management. eNom, Inc. http://www.eNom.com former registrar for RegisterFly.com |

finally, regfly is the worst company i have ever had to deal with in my entire life. i got ousted out of about $600 from them not to long ago, not a HUGE amount but that is alot of domain registrations right there.
I am really surpirsed it took eNom this long to do anything about it, it is a well known fact in every corner of the web that regfly is easily one of the worst if not the worst company to deal with. Better late then never i would say. |

oh happy days, i just hope stuff doesnt get all fucked up.
|
Yeah I got that email aswell. I got one of the domains transfered over by clicking the link in my email. But trying to figure how to move the rest of my domains over.
I still got 8 domains that I have paid to have renewed for over a month ago at registerfly, and there still not renewed and I have been calling and sending emails every day. I hope just maybe enom can help me get them over and renewed. |
so all domains thru registerfly have to move to enom? i didn't get an email ...
|
Did they JUST send this email to 200,000 people? Most of whom are now hitting enom.com? It is moving at a snail's pace for me right now... argh.
|
this is scary, in the email it says
"P.S.: IMPORTANT! If no action is taken, you may no longer be able to renew your domain name or manage it in 30 days. The domain name will remain registered in your name at eNom until it expires. Please take action immediately. Thank you. " also, i signed up for the enom account and it says i have 4 domains to be moved, meanwhile i have like 100 in my regfly account. |
great news

Please try pasting the link from your email into your browser's address bar again, or contact customer service for more assistance. lol - how do i get a unique customer key? |
Guys you have to wait for your email to click the UNIQUE link that actually creates a new enom account for you under THAT name. Just sit tight and wait for the email.
|
also, aren't only SOME of the domains resold through enom? meaning when registerfly became a accredited registrar, didn't they stop reselling through enom?
|
I didn't get the email yet, but I can't wait to move.

As an alternative :) you can go to http://easy-registry.com/
I'm an enom reseller and offer domains at the lowest price enom allows me to sell them for. |
I did not get that email. I have over 100 domains with registerfly.
What do i do? 0_o |
IT IS ABOUT TIME SOMEONE DID SOMETHING ABOUT THAT STEALING COMPANY!!!
Great job guys! :bowdown My day, month, and year was saved by Bari at Moniker. That girl rocks. [email protected] :thumbsup :thumbsup |
PEOPLE, if you registered a domain at registerfly in the past 6-8 MONTHS, you are NOT with ENOM! registerfly became accredited a little while ago and stopped reselling through ENOM
|
I got the email at 2:09 pm EST, if that helps anyone. It shows one domain.. must have missed one when I pulled all mine a month or two ago..
I'm so happy to see Registerfly get dumped.. they truly deserve it. Good luck with your domains, everyone.. |
dang this is really messed up but it
should of been done a long time ago. |

is there only reseller plan at enom?
|
I think any domains registered before RegisterFly became accredited that have been renewed at RegisterFly after they got accredited will now be registered with RegisterFly rather than eNom and thus you would not have got an email for those domain(s).
|
I have about 10 important domains at registerfly... the rest is at NameCheap... Guess I have to move them all over there FAST!! Wonder what was wrong with those BRAINDEAD people over at RegisterFly. They were doing SO good, and then did EVERYTHING WRONG! Fucking idiots... I hate them. They'll be the next ibill
|
yea was just checking this out now, can't even log into registerfly and enom's phone is busy..

Shit - I only got one domain out of many showing up as a registerfly to enom transfer.... Wonder what is up with the others? I hope they don't count as registerfly only.
|
didn't get the mail either (yet)
but I did get an account at namecheap today and started transfering my domains out of registerfly ... wonder how long it takes it's still queued for over 12 hours now, with the EPP codes filled out |
BTW, your account is created quickly, but might appear empty for up to an hour or two until your names are dropped in. Don't panic, but remember that zillions of people who hate REGISTER FLY BY NIGHT are dying to get their names out, so there's going to be a lag. :1orglaugh :winkwink:

Why the hell did any of you get domains through a reseller anyway? Go directly to the source on something as important as domains.
|
Quote:
braindead? I think they're simply stealing domains. This story actualy makes me uneasy that most of my domains are registered at one place - I need to spread the risk a bit .... |
the question is, how did registerfly become accredited? That is scary, means they will hold all the marbles.
|
Fuck Registerfly...
