DaddyHalbucks 02-06-2007 08:45 AM

Backhoes should not to be confused with heels and hoes .

;)

Sexsitesurfer 02-06-2007 08:47 AM

They are called diggers, check out "diggers" and "machinery" in a search.

It's an escivator(spelling?), Backhoes have a bucket on the front and a scoop on the rear, as well backhoes have wheels escivators have tracks.

Bob cat is a brand name as well I believe. Bobcats are fun, they tip over pretty easy tho...LOL

who 02-06-2007 09:09 AM

Excavator?

Hazlewood 02-06-2007 09:14 AM

ahh...good thread, because I've got another question.

do you have any slang to use for table football/foosball?
or if you don't which one do you use in the States and which one in UK?

just to be sure

bobby666 02-06-2007 10:46 AM

in german we call it bagger

xdcdave 02-06-2007 10:52 AM

If he's looking to lay cable then he's probably better off with a trencher, something like this: http://www.vermeermfg.com/vcom/Trenc...327&ModID=7361

These are meant to dig trenches and some even lay cable behind them automatically.

Sadly, my dad has one to do the yardwork back home in NY ...
