What skills took you longer to develop
Since you became an adult webmaster, which skills took you the longer to develop and why?
|
Social skills - because I just sit at home alone all day.

That's sad. Hopefully you are getting better at it now and might even had sex with a real girl without giving her money.
|

It took me years to learn to manage my personal finances as well as I managed my business finances. To anyone starting today I would highly recommend spending some serious time growing your assets rather than just increasing income. If you are not saving (and hopefully investing) that cashflow you are just spinning your wheels.
It also took me some time (about 5 years) to make cautious, realistic projections of my business' prospects rather than employing overly optimist wishful thinking. Conservative estimates are better than optimistic ones I have found (though aim for the optimistic ones). |
Dunno. Tough one. I would say learning what is REALLY important to conversions.
You think it's the magical fancy website that looks cool, and all that shit. But in the end it comes down to your content, and updates. Also instead of trying to get 50 hits from 10,000 sites. Try and get the very narrow focus, high converting niche instead. 1000 people looking for feet are going to convert a hell of a lot better than 10 million freeloaders. :2 cents: |
