It is highly illegal and if you do it, you will be reported to the FBI.

baddog 02-05-2007 10:32 PM

Like, can you go to jail for it? I don't think so.

reynold 02-05-2007 10:34 PM

They are very hardcore about the NO BOARD PROMOTION rule on this board.

But if you want to set up your own board, my only suggestion is

DON'T DO IT unless you're prepared to go all the way......

Daruma 02-05-2007 10:36 PM

go for it - your nic is a new one anyways :1orglaugh

Im not sure, but I think there is a difference between asking for trade in the tradeforum and spamming it here.

I tend to look at it on a case-by-case basis. If it was another adult webmaster board, the ban hammer would probably drop, and quick.

But if someone was to quote something from like vBulletin.org, webmasterworld.com, or some post that was from a support site for software/systems like photoshop, mysql, apache, php, etc., I'd probably let that slide.

That would be my :2 cents:

Right on! Fair, balanced, and well-reasoned. Should be good to accommodate the flow of info while preventing the board's traffic from getting poached.
