im glad he is dead, but our legal system needs to put some more fear in these preditors. I know we cant torture these sick fucks, but there has to be something we can do to hurt them...the death penalty is good, but most of the time, they are "put to sleep" and probably dont feel shit. We should revert back to stoning, or drowning...we need to make these child preditors suffer.

well they WERE sexualy assulted, and the media had already released pictures of the girls before the knew that they were raped. so now everyone knows who the victims identities are which sucks for them...

theres no problem saying the girls were raped. They might have a problem if they released the identities of the girls. BUT they were kidnapped and time was crucial. So they release pictures and whatever else.

Embarrasing? Im sure the girls are going through all sorts of emotions. But they were kidnapped by a psycho and are alive and home.

It seems like the media is totally exploiting these kids being kidnapped though. I'm sure it's good for ratings and everything, but I'm sure these kids just want to be left alone, not be in the media spotlight after going through so much already.

That said, crimes like this make me think we need to reinstitute public hangings.

The police shot and killed the guy, they are going to have to give specific information on what crimes he committed to justify the shootings. It will all be part of the public police records and investigations. That's the way the system works. It's an open justice system. In theory, that's so that people can try to make sure it doesn't get too corrupt.

The privacy protection the girls could have had is that they could have not released their names in the first place. How smart would that have been when they are trying to find them to save their lives?
