Upgraded internet explorer 6 to 7 and lost bookmarks
 

Anyone had this happen? Installed the windows update, it put 7.0 on my computer, biggest piece of shit i've seen in a whle, not even easy to use. When i clicked bookmarks it says "signin to google to see your bookmarks"

I want my old bookmarks back, anyone had this problem?

I uninstalled that funky shit. It totally fucked up my surfing.

Um you sure you checked under 'Favorites' and not the google toolbar bookmark thing?

they are still there
click the tools tab and check menu bar
then you will now show the old "file edit view Favorites tools help" menu bar
your bookmarks will be under favorites

that sounds like what he is doing

c:\doc and set\name(u log in as)\favorites

should be there...



when i installed 7, i still have 6 in there... check, i think 6 should still be on your comp

Yeah that is possible, I couldnt even find any menu's to drop down. I am happy as a clam to be back at 6.
