I didn't blew it up but I did something else stupid, its very hard to drive on WET pavement !

Never buy an elise as it is going to be your primary vehicle, its an awesome toy though

One of my friends is thinking of buying a Lotus Elise.Is it worth it or should he buy another car.Any recommendations ?

I heard a story about someone that had an Elise and took it to the local garage to have some work done on it. The mechanics put it up on the lift to walk under it and it rolled off from about 7 feet in the air. He explained that the Elise had a very specific way to be lifted and the mechanics didn't have a clue. He showed me a pic of the car standing on it's rear in the garage stall. I'll bet that was one pissed off car owner when he got the call.

I used to own a Lotus Elise, didnt work out well in NY (too light when the weather gets bad) but it was a nice car. Owned it for about a year heh
