Hurricane Electric (he.net) seems to be thehun.net's provider. They are also our provider.

Their freemont location has been having major issues since around 1:30pm today, not sure of exact details really.. At least officially. ;)

We're luckily located in chicago, and although we are seeing a noticeable slowdown, we are still 100% up.

Big dent in porn when a provider of this size goes down, eh? he.net are good people, and run a tight company. They'll fix this and be all good right soon.

There was a major DOS attack on one of the sites on HE indeed. Wasn't us being under attack, but the attack did take down the switch we were behind (which was the switch for the entire farm our servers are in as well). This weekend we'll be going down there to see if we can be on another switch or even to look at a setup where we can switch switches dynamically if one goes down...

I'm quite happy with HE, things like these are rare but unfortunately not completely avoidable...
