It depends on the trial members area set up, does it tease the trial member enough to make him stick on board... If it does, the higher trial conversions will make sense..

set up the trial members area as bait for those who might not be willing to spring for the full but don't give them shit for that trial price. That way, you still make some money off the freeloaders who would have never gone full regardless plus since they've already committed and you've got your FOOT IN THE DOOR, you're more likely to convert many of them to full. :thumbsup

That is quite true I think.

This is just a guess really, but I would have thought that most people who would have paid $30/40, if they do the trial and still like it they will still pay the $30/40 or so. People who wouldn't pay that, but would pay $4 or whatever, gets a tiny bit more income and if they enjoy it and see its not a scam etc etc they'll sign up.
