OMG, what a fucking joke. That match up was an insult to Crocop and an embarrassment to any league. Eddie Sanchez had no biz in there and is definitely NOT on a meteoric rise.

Yes, Silva just owned Lutter guy, thus ending any chances of a meteoric rise. (but it wasn't total domination, he may come back for a meteoric rise some other time)

Sanchez would have be KO'd in about 30 seconds if he would have quit running backwards in circles the whole fight. Must have been frustrating for Crocop to have to keep chasing him the whole time.

Dude, Lutter is a has been in the UFC. Thats' why they put him on The Ultimate Fighter show.

Normally it's crocop running away from the other guy. That was just pathetic.

Anthony, I know. I just meant that he wasn't a total pushover even though he was probably weak from being a fat ass and not making weight. I shouldn't have said that he would have another chance for a meteoric rise. On the other hand, I heard alot of buzz about 365 in Vegas, that you guys are the bomb. Sounds like a possible meteoric rise I think.

fight anything less than the UFC Champion is fucking insulting and stupid. The UFC should be ashamed. I understand it was for long term money; but they should be embarrassed nonetheless.

Dude that's how the fighting biz works... BTW Wand has beat crocop before too (ended up in a draw, but he clearly dominated).

P.S. Lidell is #1 according to most MMA mags... Shogun #2 and Wand #3.

And heres the rankings according to FCF and Sherdog. You must be reading magazines geared toward the UFC. Because most independent mags say different.

looks pretty accurate, it just bothers me why did sherdog put mirko #1 and fedor #2 ? thats just plain stupid... mirko lost to rendelman, hunt, nuegera and fedor... fedor on the other hand won all of them... also fedor gave a rematch to mirko and mirko didn't wanna fight and left to ufc (he knew winning fedor would be VERY hard, and since he was on a roll lately he didn't wanna loose)..

Agreed Fedor is certainly number 1. But he only beat Mirko by decision. Randleman bebefitted from the "Any given Sunday" factor, and couldn't hope to repeat that.
I'd still like to see them fight down the road though. :thumbsup

not a bad UFC. I was surprised that Rampage didn't dominate, but I guess he was nervous. Otherwise it was pretty good. Lutter looked like a jack ass in the ring, I am surprised he lasted more than a minute. Can't wait to see GSP dominate Matt Serra. I doubt that he has any chance in that fight.
