Spam DOS Attack against Candid Clicks
 

Attention Webmasters:

This is day number 3 that the spammer is doing a DOS spam attack against us.

Now the spammer is spamming our HTML pages directly to get past our 404 redirects.

To combat this we have temporarily blocked all non referring traffic from seeing our gateways to minimize damage against our clients who we are brokering traffic to.

This should not affect most webmasters, and any webmaster that has asked permission to send non referring traffic has been placed on our whitelist.

If you receive any spam emails related to any Candid Publishing, Inc services, you must immediately email [email protected]

All Candid Clicks spam traffic should redirect to

http://www.candidclicks.com/spammer.html

or

http://www.candidclicks.com/blank.html

We have reasons to believe that one of our competitors is responsible for starting this DOS spam attack and we are in the process of collecting evidence on the matter.

If this is in fact who we think it is, we will take immediate legal action against them and take any legal means necessary to take them out of business.

Hey Candid if you figure out who it is, please let us know, so we can stop doing business with them, as we do not like to promote or help out any cheating scum.

dude he would have to be a hell of a spammer to dos attack you with spamming.. even if he spammed every email address on the planet he probably wouldn't get over 100,000 clicks.. and at the time people posted the problem on this board you said "its ok this account only has 5 clicks"... i wouldnt consider that a dos attack young fella

It's not the volume.

This spammer is targeting businesses and law firms and sending vile and obscene emails.

Also we canned him like an hour after he joined.

Anyways we're getting about 50 complaints an hour.....so I would consider it a DOS attack.
