What a difference a few hours makes
 

I had to go up to Sacramento yesterday (420 miles). It took me about 6 hours to get there.

I opted to drive home last night, so left about midnight, and it took less than 5 hours.

I don't know if the wind was at my back, or if racing all those jap cars just really made a difference.

So you drove 14 miles per hour faster on the return trip.

Well, that would be an approximate average I guess.

I don't think I got over 90 on the way up. Hit 130 on the way back during a couple races.

I love long distance drives at night. Much less traffic and much less cops.

Once on a late night trip from Phoenix to San Diego for Cybernet Expo I had my Mach 1 flat out at 150 mph - and held it. I was flying. All of a sudden there were cop cars everywhere! I'm like "Shit, I'm going to jail". Turns out I was near the Mexican border and it was the Border Patrol. They never saw me but instead must have been tracking someone crossing the border.

That’s a lot of driving in one day baddog..... i couldn’t do it so I applaud you .... I'm more of a passenger

Nah, I took the car, can't trust the weather up north.
