If someone loses something of yours...should they then be asses about looking for it?

I mean lets say you sent someone money...they cant find it...you ask them to ask their bank because your bank has not returned it and it is gone to them for sure.

should they stall you and just treat it like wow..i cant believe he is asking about this money again?

I mean how hard is it to have someone call a friggin bank and search for the money

interracialtoons 02-01-2007 03:25 PM

Uh, but you could be just bullshitting because you don't want to pay and they don't want to waste their time following a line of bullshit and asking questions at the bank.

If you sent someone money, it's kind of your resposiblity to "put it in their hand".

Otherwise, you didn't pay.

So your original question about someone "losing" something doesn't apply here. They can't lose something that they never got.

If you can prove you sent it, its not your problem.

But if he was paying a hosting bill and the server gets turned off then it's also not the hosting company's problem. They didn't get the money; that's all that matters for them legally.

Then its the banks problem. You pay for a service, money transfer.

If they give the wiring instructions and the wire was sent according to their wire instructions and you have documentation to that fact then it is their problem not yours. fax them a copy of the documentation from your bank saying the wire has been sent.

what are you some kind of joker? this is serious biz im talking about.

if i said i sent the money it is sent. find one negative thing about me when it comes to payouts or paying for anything...the company im dealing with is just too bloated and fat to do anything....it is their problem to look for it..as they are the ones who have software problems and thus we have missing money.

When you send money the issuing bank will let you know if it was returned. It was not returned so where is the money.

yes already got that....the problem is they seem so very slow to go find it.
one call to their bank will solve it...some people take their business for granted.

You don't tell what kind of relation these money have, but if its an affiliate payout, you should send him the documentation so he can give it to his bank. If that is not acceptable for him, then fuck it, you can't do more.

I wasn't saying you are bullshittin anyone.
I'm saying that they might think that, since other have done it before.

The problem is that the bank you sent it to made an error.
They now need to return the money to your bank so you can send it again.
But, of course the other bank doesn't think they made an error so they are just sitting on their ass and not even attempting to look for it.
As soon as they look for it they will find it; but when will that happen?

This happened to me before and after 3 visits to the bank the clerk finally said "well, let me look at this....(30 secs); OH! Here it is, we will return the payment to the company and then they can send it again to you".

I don't blame the people on the other end for not wanting to go to the stupid bank 3 times just to get them to do 30 seconds of work. You need to call the other bank yourself and give them a transaction number and see if they can return the money to your bank and start the thing over making sure all account numbers are correct.

no if it was for an affiliate we would have made arrangements to pay another way...affiliates shouldnt have to wait because of banks

If you have docs that show you did send it, send a copy to them

if they gave the proper info, they should get it

sometimes it can take a few days to get added into their bank, after going through head office ect...
