There are very few abortion clinics. There are also many anti abortion clinics that set up shop right near or next to such places with look alike signs and names. There are also numerous legal regulations that have almost made it near illegal in many states. Lastly 350 to 650 is still a lot of money to many who live in poverty. I shall not touch the sixteen year old remark.

As for the "cost" of an abortion, it's not just the money: it's a child's life and the eternal regret of the mother; that will likely face a lifetime of emotional issues after the fact.

This does not need to turn into a morals debate on abortion. It was a simple question.

To go with your guilt attempt. Keeping it may cost 2 lives or more. Keeping something alive just because it has the potential to become an independant life form is not always the best choice for any of the parties envolved.

I would think the area of the country you live in would be the biggest factor. My friend's 16 yo brother got his 15 yo gf pregnant about 4 years ago and my friend and I went with the little brother to take her. I know this sounds strange, but I think the price depended on what day of the week it was. One day was cheaper than the other two, or something. I can't remember why. I think the cheap day was upper 200s and the other days were lower 300s.
