New Harry Potter book on July 21
JK Rowling announces Book 7 release date!
JKRowling.com has recently been updated with news that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the seventh and final book in the series, will be released on July 21st, 2007, one week after the fifth movie hits theaters. Scholastic has followed with a press release in which Lisa Holton, President of Scholastic Children's Books said, 'We are thrilled to announce the publication date of the seventh installment in this remarkable series. We join J.K. Rowling's millions of readers - young and old, veterans and newcomers - in anticipating what lies ahead.' You can read the full press release here. The hardcover will sell for $34.99 with the deluxe edition fetching $65.00. These high prices could mean the book will be longer than any of the previous six. |

I found this post regarding the differences:
"The difference between the versions is the art work on the covers as well as at the begining of each chapter. On some of the books, the adult art work is a little more sinister than the children's version." |
Harry Potter=BULLSHIT!!!
|
nice... been waiting for that final part for ages...
|
Double the price for new sinister illustrations in the other version of the book, now I know why Rowling is a billionaire. :-)
|
I don't like that story.....
