Do you wear deodorant?
The shit causes cancer and most of them don't deodorize anything except maybe that arm & hammer baking soda deodorant...
I've been deodorant free for a year now... I ask my loved ones if I stink and they say that I don't... So fuck it! I'm deodorant FREE!!! Besides I read that anything w/ anti-perspirant has been proven to cause cancer... Sweat is sexy... Fight the power. |
Are you referring to your loved ones as BP4L or people in your house?
Is the family deodorant free? |
Damn, you must be reading the same shit my girlfriend is reading.
Now she has to spend 8 bucks on special earth hippy deodorant. |
I wear anti-persperant :) My grandmother has worn it for 80 years, and still cancer free. SO I say, take your chance please. for the benefit of humanity!
|
btw, I think you are just looking for a reason to explain your B.O.
that is totally NOT SEXY :helpme |
I wear it. I am sweat and stink free. I can wear a light colored shirt and not have those huge wet spots under each arm on a hot day. Cancer (if that's even true)? There's a price to be paid for not smelling like ass and sweating like a whore on dollar day.
|
i'd rather live a happy life and die of cancer, then smell so bad no one wants to be 20 feet around me.
i remember those 'deoderant free' ppl in high school |

Today here in FL it's really humid... so I guess I was just thinking about sweat and BO... Honestly I love to smell a woman's BO -- drives me insane. |
OK. Where the fuck are all these bizarre cancer scares from daily used cosmetics (shampoo, deoderant, whatever) coming from? There is loads of other things that can give you cancer. Cigarettes, car exhaust, alcohol (in large quantities), nuclear power (if you live too close), asbestos, compulsive tanning, and of course there are the MANY forms of cancer that seem to come from nowhere. Why get all uptight because your Head and Shoulders MIGHT give you scalp cancer (although I've never heard of such a thing) when you could be hit by a train tomorrow?

--- 3. Lymph Nodes At several sites in the human body, the lymphatics join to form a bundle of tissue called lymph nodes, or popularly known as lymph glands. The term "lymph gland" technically is not accurate because "glands" make hormones, and "lymph glands" do not manufacture hormones. Any fluid that enters the lymphatic system must pass through at least one lymph node before advancing to the heart and reentering the circulartory system. The individual nodes vary in size from microscopic to approximately 2.5 cm [1 inch] in diameter. Each node consists of a tightly packed mass of white blood cells forming lymphoid tissue. In the node, several small lymphatic vessels convey lymph to the node filter and then to a single larger vessel that carries the fluid out of the node. Every lymph node has its own small artery and vein. There are approximately 600 lymph nodes in the human lymph system. The nodes generally occur in clusters, particularly under the armpits, behind the ears, in the groin, in the abdominal cavity, behind the knees, and in other areas. Lymphoid tissue in the nodes produce antibodies and hold reservoirs of lymphocytes, as discussed below. Lymph nodes also contain macrophages, which are large cells that engulf bacteria and other foreign particles. Thus, lymph nodes function as filters that trap cancer cells, bacteria, and viruses. Lymph nodes play an important role in fighting infection, primarily in their roles in antibody production and lymphocyte storage. |
I saw a guy who walked with a lymph once.

What Can You Do to Promote Lymphatic Health?
Lymphatic health is an integral part of overall healthfulness: Ingest appropriately healthy quantities of good-quality drinking water. Ingest adequate nutrition. Exercise regularly. Avoid exposure to the causes and sources of disease and infection. Avoid pollutants, toxic substances and unhealthy environments. Manage stress in a manner that promotes wellness and health. Feel confident in your odors. Encourage your partners to sweat during lovemaking. |

I'm not saying you are wrong. Lymph nodes are very important and are one of the things that are affected by cancer in secondary stages. What I'm saying is that people have been using this stuff (and worse stuff) for over 50 years now. There are loads and loads of toxic chemicals that each and every one of us come into contact with every day. If people wanna live as 'nature intended' and move out to an isolated island just to avoid getting cancer that you might get anyway just 'cause your body decides to start growing it then more power to them. I just don't believe in freaking out and living each day in fear just because I might get cancer. I try to take care of myself, I don't drink too much, don't smoke, I wear sunscreen, try not to eat GM foods, etc. But why stop using products that have been around for our comfort and hygiene for decades because a tiny amount of a toxic chemical is in there and is probably gonna kill me in 70 years. I'm dying anyway (we all are) and will be dead in 70 years regardless. What difference does it make if its the chemicals that get me or old age or a courier on a motorbike not looking where he's going? People worry too much about things they can do little about. Eventually, we're all gonna die. I'm finished now, fight it out amongst yourselves. |

eeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww |
I use that "earth hippy" stuff that Labret refers to (I believe) - it's basically a big ass chunk of rock salt. Works great.
Can't use the other shit, I'm allergic to it, and strangely enough that apart from the nasty rash it gives me, it also makes me sweat like crazy in the applied areas. ;> I highly recommend the rock salt stuff. Cheers, Backov |
I put deodorant on every morning and have been for years. I really do not think am going to get cancer from it. what am having a hard time with:helpme is I lived in the Bay Area for over 20 years. Put my deodorant on every morning.. And i've been using Old Spice High Endurance "Fresh" or "Sport" for years. Ok I move to Fresno Sept. 11th 2001. I would wake up in the Morning and have under arm BO. Now I've been doing the same thinks every day for years, only thing Diff. is I moved to another City. Now I have to apply deodorant before bed also. I hate it with I can smell my under arm BO.
But I love a woman's pussy BO the smell... I like to Oh so slowly lick it off.... I really like a womans pussy after she has been working out.... :thumbsup Fuck am in HillyBilly heaven then....:helpme :helpme |
I just started to use Old Spice High Endurance Gel Anti Persperpent... I like it. Use it twice daily in the morning and at night after I shower.
BTW, is there any difference between the gel and the stick? I prefer the gel because of the nice cold smooth feeling when you put it on -- feels more refreshing than the stick. |
...i would hope that everyone wears deodorant...
but... this shit causes cancer? Yikes. Brad |
BO-Loving Freaks!!!
:throwup |
Man my arm pits smell good with out it.. I don't need that shit.. Just wash your body everyday and you should be cool..

I remember some hippy telling me that if you don't wash your hair with shampoo for a month of so the natural oils in your hair take over and keep it clean.
Obviously he stank like shit. And therefore I wash my hair with shampoo every morning and apply deoderant after. But if I have had more than 3 beers the night before my office stills can smell pretty bad 20 mins after I get there :1orglaugh |
In Latvia we are using the sweat of female yak from near the hind legs and around their teats to prevent sweat smelling.
If they are milking calves we sometimes will use this milk as perfume. A little behind the ears will make you smelling sweet like tulip blossom. |
Im allergic to that shit. I get a nasty rash under my arms. I've been using some wierd salt crystal deoderant, works great.
|

But it does work. Mine is called "Henri Bernard" and is made from 100% natural mineral salts, is fragrance free and is completely devoid of toxins and artificial preservatives found in most deodorants. But damn, I love the smell of my Speedstick Cyclone :D |
ya know, there's a different between a deodorant and an anti-perspirant. deodorants aren't the cancer-causing product in question. it's anti-perspirants, which contain aluminium chlorohydrate.
|
I usually smear pressed root juice under my armpits ... works like a charm.
|
Well I'll be chewed and swallowed.... Tit is right. This here crystal deodorant stick thingy says right on the cap in bold letters
"CONTAINS NO ALUMINUM CHLORHYDRATE" Cool. |
Everything causes cancer
|
I don't use deodorant, i compensate smoking a package each day though. :smokin
Seb. |
everything causes cancer its all bullshit
we sprayed a poor haplesss lab monkey with 10 years worth of anti persperant in 25 minutes and it developed cancer so anti persperant must cause cancer I bet if I blow 25 cans of compress air into a monkey ass something bad is going to happen to him maybe even cancer then I can tell everybody that oxygen causes cancer |
Quote:
:2 cents: |
I don't need deodorant
|
Be nice to your monkey.
|
