One of my chihuahua’s got a big patch of its tail hair yanked off, hair was missing for a month because of those damn things. Just glad it never tried to lick it.

yeh its pretty nasty. i am still cringing. however, before this report i had never thought of a dog getting their tounge, tail, hair, etc. That would just totally suxors. :(

this is why i posted this. i truly figured that dog owners would want to know. i did a little research, and this by far isnt the first dog to have his tounge, ummmmmmm, haxored.

ooo I'm not even going to watch it. Not that I have a weak stomach at all, it's that I love dogs too much and do not like seeing them hurt.

I keep a box of business cards sitting on top of my shredder, under the desk next to the file cabinet. My pooch has no way to get at the top of the shredder.

CDsmith, I promise this wasnt to gross you out. Although, it did me. Being an animal/dog lover myself. Figured others would want to know to. I am still a bit freaked out over the whole thing. Wish I wouldnt have watch it.

(On a different note: Our dog licked the live end of the power cord to the papershredder several times. It made her jump but she did it until we made her stop. She's part chow & doesn't seem to feel much pain!)

My ex had a shih tzu that chased the lawn mower. It wasn't the brightest light on the tree. He never did get too close, luckily.

immediately moved my shredder from the floor, up out of reach from my adorable little maltese
