Fucking ICQ
 

I know, I'm a stupid newbie fuck for downloading goddamned beta software, but I was having problems with ICQ and decided, what the fuck, I'll upgrade...well, I was installing and everytime I go to log on, it starts the database converter which crashes and basically says "fuck you fuckface, I'm not connecting for you"...anyone know a patch or workaround for this? I know I should probably post this on icq's forums, but I figured I'd get a faster and better response here....

I already tried un-installing and re-installing....

install trillian and then point to where your icq is. it will fish out your contacts. and then you will be running a solid stable client also

I tried trillian and it claims my password is invalid as it's 9 characters and trillian will only take 8.......

go to icq.com and reset your password ;)

Isn't ICQ always a beta version? (2001b(eta))
