How much should I charge for advertising?

Someone wants to purchase banner advertising on my site. What would be a good fair price to charge per month?

I'm ranked #2 in the oral sex category for sextracker (http://ranks.sextracker.com/spn.html...al&pg=0-0.html ) and receive an average of 1,879 unique visits/day.

Hi Jade.. you hottie ; ) When I charge for advertising, I do it by the amount of hits they can expect to get during the time. Per impression isn't really good, since they might get no clicks. I recently bought advertising at a place that charges what they can get for it if they used it to send to a sponsor.... umm needless to say, it's soo not worth it.

Anyhow, for 1800 uniques a day..for a site that is also in the blowjob niche.. you they could possibly only get 50 hits a day or they could get 200. That's 1500-6000 hits in a month. Since you aren't trying to lose your traffic, you just don't know how many people will leave your site thru their banner. A common rate to charge with amateur traffic is .02 per click. I can't do math that quickly in my head..but I think that's $30-$120. You would do better to put a sponsor banner there and see how many sales you could get on them. (Backroomfacials maybe).

Just some numbers to go by.. you are the only one who would know what that particular banner spot would send out.. you can figure it out by tracking clicks out to sponsors or somethin...

Why would you want to sell advertising space on a paysite? :eek7 If I understand it correctly you have a paysite...
you probably want as less traffic leaks on there as possible.
Unless yor talking about upselling stuff in the members area...
