So I had a party last night and.....
 

When everyone had gotten here I forgot to get off of GFY so everyone saw the great GFY and then boom 3948756764878393 questions about it.

The funnest part was when my g/f said "Could you look up a site on Google for me? It's www.nclub.com." I then had to tell her that you didn't need Google as that was the web address and you just put it in your address bar.:( LOL

lol my dad does the same thing...when he wants to go to a website he types the address (ie www.xxxx.com) into the Yahoo search box and then goes to the page that way...

yeah people who go to google to type in urls are going to be homeless people in the next 50 years.

i never use the address bar anymore - google corrects my bad spelling. :)

ugh! My mom does the same thing. I have shown her over and over how to do it, but she just doesn't get it. She also doesnt know how to check her own email.

I always watch friends use the web. Let's face it, the average guy doesn't use the internet the same way a webmasters does. Good perspective & info on how they find you.

It is seriously mind boggling to me how many people do not have any idea about the internet.

Alot know basic of the basics, i forget people like this exist from being surrounded by so many computer literate webmasters + programmers.
