AsianDivaGirlsWebDude 01-30-2007 10:59 PM

LOL!!!

But that would be rabbit and mutton

EBORG9 01-30-2007 11:25 PM

Veal is the shit. Had some sausage once (Veal sausage for the wiseguys), it was delicious.
Never had rabbit either, I'd try it.

Like Chris Rock said, "I'll eat a Pigs ass if you cook it right".

SPACE GLIDER 01-30-2007 11:26 PM

Rabbit tastes good. Fresh veal is so wild tasting

holabeano 01-30-2007 11:35 PM

I've heard rabbit gives you terrible farts.

Take a whiff and give a full report to the class.

Deer as well as a few others (caribou, elk, moose, etc) are venison.

Veal is the meat of a calf (baby cow).

And my farts still smell like roses, Sly.

Never had veal, but I'd like to try. Rabbit is pretty tasty.

Antonio 01-31-2007 01:25 AM

I love rabbit and I have the best recipe for it too - with shallots, carrots, garlic, one and a half bay leaves, add a bit of paprika, cook until the meat is tender ........... and there you have it - the best stew in the Wolrd !!!!

E$_manager 01-31-2007 07:49 AM

My rabbit died 3 days ago! He was the best ever!

Well, you are not a bad person if you eat rabbits and veal.
Don't worry.

Young 01-31-2007 07:53 AM

Rabbit and Veal are in 2 different leagues if you ask me.

If you've ever had beef...then you're pretty close to veal (minus the cruelty thing of course).

Rabbit is just way out there...I could never see myself having rabbit.

MartiniGirl 01-31-2007 07:55 AM

Poor animals...

I think youre confusing venison and veal buddy. Veal is far from wild tasting...fresh or not.

E$_manager 01-31-2007 08:08 AM

Veals have the taste of milk. I don't like it.
Rabbits are diffiult to prepare because their meat is not soft and fat.

shekinah 01-31-2007 08:35 AM

Never had eaten anything like those before..Maybe I won't dare

Jman 01-31-2007 08:44 AM

Both are very healthy for you ;-)

Veal is pretty much like Beef for whimps, I don't really like it, no fat, no taste...but rabbit is really good ! Although I wouldn't order it on first date, girls and cute fluffy animals, you know...

cachondo 01-31-2007 09:46 AM

A Veal Fate Worse Than Death

About 14 weeks after their birth, the calves are slaughtered. The quality of this "food," laden with chemicals, lacking in fiber and other nutrients, diseased and processed, is another matter. The real issue is the calves' experience. During their brief lives, they never see the sun or touch the Earth. They never see or taste the grass. Their anemic bodies crave proper sustenance. Their muscles ache for freedom and exercise. They long for maternal care. They are kept in darkness except to be fed two to three times a day for 20 minutes. The calves have committed no crime, yet have been sentenced to a fate comparable to any Nazi concentration camp.

Because of such extremely unhealthy living conditions and restricted diets, calves are susceptible to a long list of diseases, including chronic pneumonia and "scours," or constant diarrhea. Consequently, they must be given massive doses of antibiotics and other drugs just to keep them alive. (The antibiotics are passed on to consumers in the meat.) The calves often suffer from wounds caused by the constant rubbing against the crates.
