I am thinking of doing a World Tour
 

I was planning of doing a world tour this summer. Thinking of touching about 20-25 countries.

Anyone has any ideas of any good deals going on for the world pass kind of air tickets. I had read long time back of a deal where for $3000 (flying 1st class) you get to touch any 20 destinations and you have 1 year to do that.

Anyone has any idea for such deals going on? Please post info, links, etc.

I need to decide soon so please post any info you know about.

cool idea. but i think 3000$ is a very cheap it should be around 7000-10 000$

Economist magazine sometimes has an advertisement in one of the last pages of first class around-the-world tickets, they were indeed from about $3000. I don't remember the name though, so check a few old issues.

20-25 countries for $3k is realistic, but it will be economy and not first class. If you want to go first class you can tenfold that number and even that would be cheap.

20-25 destinations would indeed really be pushing it, most around-the-globe tickets will do about 6 for some $1600, in economy class.
