What makes a good content store?

Hey guys,

I?m doing a bit of research on content stores and looking for some feedback from guys who use them to buy their non exclusive content. There seem to be so many stores out there, but only a few of them seem to be doing any business and even fewer seem to have people behind them. (frequent updates, good customer support etc) So the question is what do you think makes a content store good? How do you choose one when shopping for content? What are the features you prefer/must have and what are the ones that put you off? Here, I?m thinking about things like:

-categories
-searching
-having to register before being able to look at inventory
-being able to choose size and maybe watermark entire photo sets
-being able to preview entire video and choose size/format/resolution
-the store showing you how many times the set/video has been sold
-being able to see when the set/video has been added to the database
-payment methods (what are your preferred ways to pay for content bought online?)

Basically it would be sweet if you could tell me what makes a good content store from your point of view. Thanks! :)

I have worked with many, and the one that stands out amongst the best is...

WorldWideContent

I have worked with Bako when he was with another CP, and stayed with him when he went to WWC.. They have a great plugin feed, as well as an abundance of licensed titles to choose from.

He is one of the best in terms of customer satisfaction..

I am a stickler for support.. there is nothing worse than trying to reach a rep and days go by without response.. bako at WWC has always responded quickly to my requests...

Bako your content store at Worldwidecontent.com is about perfect in my mind interface & search wise.

We license ALOT of content, and all our dealings with you and Worldwidecontent.com have always been fantastic.

Great support, great prices and they have a huge selection of titles.

You'll get alot more business from us in 2007 I promise ;-)

Cheers
