We are asking $50,000 for UCN.COM
Thank you for your interest. |
funny thing about URL's you can simply add a 'the' or 'online' at the end and save yourself 50,000$ from those who love to snap up anything and make some money off of it. dont know how many times I simply do that or other changes for webmaters and they get the domain name they want for 9$ rather than pay in the thousands

BTW if I read what you say correctly, the webmasters you consult for are not getting the domain they want... |
Great URL, hope you get a good price
|
I would rather own peekvid.com

on a final note - most webmasters who are starting a new site generally have several URL's in mind - I have yet to meet one that is so damn'ed determined that they were willing to pay thousands for, much less hundreds. The only way this worked was with one webmaster who owned several domains using the same beginning - someone contacted him by saying they have another domain that was similar just a small variation - he was pissed because he forgot to do that. I simply advised him to tell the seller that your developer and team the URL was not that important and that maybe in a few years to contact him again... if not... he would be prepared to buy it for the price on godaddy which was around 10$. Guess what? the seller dropped his bid from 2k down to 10$ realizing he would at least get his initial investment back and not take a loss. Now the webmaster owns all the variations of his domain and didnt get ripped off

not true - sometimes a web name just hits the spot for someone. Hell, I even had one change the name of his magazine, because my domain (liveuk) was more appropriate for them. They paid handsomely, because it was a great name. Everyone was happy. --edit, and I did zero to push the sale of that domain. It just sat there gathering dust for 2 years. |
