All these "kill designers" threads.. Give me some clues
 

So much hatred for designers on GFY lately. We are just trying to make a buck, have a beer and discuss our clients with each other thats all :)

What do you HATE THE MOST about designers?

Too much begging for work, and not enough getting the work done quickly. I don't have that problem with you though :)

Its because there are many individual-designers. Some of them are cool, no doubt.. I'm writing a big guide on how to "shop for design" these days. Going to release that soon, stay tuned :)

the problem im having lately is my CLIENTS being around.

a good thing I have multiple projects at once and my own stuff on the burners.

but it can still be frustrating waiting to deliver or get specs...

so how is it going with your guide?

I don't know too many designers but you should all watch out for that Yoni guy.

He does great work for a great price :thumbsup

Here's what he did for us and I didn't give him much to work with either.

I agree with wyldblyss, i cant go on GFY without seeing a "I NEED WORK!!" thread. I dont care i just ignore it but some people..

i pretty much use the same designers, but some are flakes

We don't beg for work on here ... we haven't even posted a portfolio pic for ages ... we're working on huge amounts and work comes to us these days. It's great and yeah, we'll still post up new works, just not as often. We did post a lot at one point but .... to be fair, if you don't show your work, people wont see it ...

Now we've got a lot of GREAT clients and we're doing really well.

I appreciate all the people who've come to us and like the work we do for them. Thanks to you all.
