1 artist? Very hard to choose. Id say its a toss between Roger Waters and Jim Morrison, their writing skills and musical geniuses is unsurpassed for me.

With that being said, my fave bands are Floyd and Doors.

I've always liked Nikki Sixx...Sure he ain't the greatest musician but he has writen great feelgood rock'n'roll songs and has had one hell of a life..Did more in his lifetime than everyone on this board added up.

Music is very mood dependant ... so this is a hard call.

I find Pink Floyd suits almost any mood.

The Chili Peppers, Black Eyed Peas, Ben Harper, The John Butler Trio, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Rolling Stones .....
