Anyone here ever take acting classes??
 

I am seriously considering taking some lessons. I am tired of sitting in front of the damn pc all day.

Has anyone ever taken any and how was it? I have a lot of anxiety though of acting in front of other fellow students and public speaking, I'm guessing this is usually required in all acting classes??

I'm about an hr away from LA. Does anyone have any tips on how to get a manager/agent?

took classes they are fun , see how the classes go before worrying about a agent

Was in drama in high school,appeared in Nintendo ,Pert plus commercials a couple years back

I'm curious about memorizing lines... How do people memorize scripts, do you just read it over and over again until it's ingrained in your brain? When I watch some movies I notice certain characters have VERY long dialogues...

Acting classes, lol. Just get up and do your thing. Okay now be a tree is not going to help at $400/class.

I took one in high school. It was terrible.
