Blog instead of TGP?
 

Has anybody used blog software and made posts with galleries instead of having a TGP that rotates or randomizes galleries? I wonder how this would turn out.

should work pretty well, wanted to try that but haven't gotten around to it....what would that be a BGP?

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't that what a babeblog is?

i wanted to do that, but couldnt get around to mixing autogallery and wordpress. it was kinda tuff

Uhm, well that definitely is an option with a blog. The beauty of a blog is that you can post pretty much whatever you want. From my experience, there is more work put into a blog compared to a tgp, but you get more serp listings with having a blog, which brings in more traffic with no real work for it. There's a few more upsides also.

You can do it with forum software too.

I tried doing that with www.listmytgp.com but decided to drop it as it was too much work updating the damn thing all the time.

It works very nicely depending on a) niche b) traffic strategy (filter vs se traffic) c) content depth d) level of user interactivity.
