I have to make one or the taxman is going to take it all!

I hate having all this money sitting in RRSP's that I can't touch though. I probably won't live long enough to get to spend it.

We have till March 1 I believe, correct?

contribute on a regular basis, only top up anything that I missed if they raised the max allowed or something around this time of year.

I need to find other ways to lower taxable income though.

You can use your rssp money to buy your first property, but you need to put the money back in afterwards.

I try to max out every year..gotta plan for the retirement

Why do they make it sound like you're donating the money to a charity?

I think March 1st is the deadline. I got mine done in November.

what i never understood is how come rrsp loans are such a big thing in canada but ira loans don't seem to exist in the US, despite ira and rrsp being all but the same thing.
