Its not too bad as long as you stay in the larger areas like Tokyo, as you get further away you see alot less english signs etc. The trains are that way also. As you get further stops away from Tokyo they are Japanese only read outs on the signs and announcements.

He just had a layover at Narita. Being that the airport is a good 40 miles or so from Tokyo and all that is around the airport is mainly rice patties I doubt there is much to do except sit and wait for his connecting flight. lol :winkwink:
