It's fucking COLD here in Spain
 

I am constantly freezing, this is NOT why I moved to Spain from Norway 9 years ago.
I am gonna call the tour operator and demand my money back.

It's actually 13 celcius right now, but it feels like I am back in Norway haha. I think the humidity makes it feel more cold. I know it has been below 0 a couple nights ago though not far from here.

I moved to Ecuador from Europe for the reason of the cold winters. But it s not hot here as i thought. We had 3 weeks of good weather not long ago. And now it is raining again.

Agree, for me is even worse as i live in the middle of Spain, 5 degrees and snowing (and we see snow here like once every 10 years).

This winter is pretty warm instead of the past... Hope to get a real winter in the next couple of years!

It's cold here in Canada too.

I was in Spain last week and was walking around in a t-shirt most of the time. Sometimes it'd get a bit chilly, but its NOTHING compared to what I've got here in Canada now.

So I suggest you don't complain bud, some peeps have it ALOT worse ;)

You people who post about how cold it is but are from obviously more temperate climates really don't know from cold. When you want to know about cold, ask a Canadian. Or a Russian, but only if he's from Siberia.

I think the idea of the post was that it is not normaly cold in Spain. 13 is a low temperature for that place as i understand.
If i was staying in Russia and it would be -20 (the way it always is) i wouldn't post the topic "how cold it is in Russia", because it is a normal temperature.

Haha, I am Norwegian, I guess I just have gotten used to the spanish climate after all these years.
When I was in the army in the north of Norway ( infantry ), we had -30 and were sleeping in tents and snow up to our necks.

I was in snow, it's funny :) A bit of cold is good, and we need water in the country, snow is really good for agriculture!

Bah....I was just there a week and a half ago. Chilly? Yes. Cold? No.

Anyways, for the costa del sol, it is abnormally cold.

Barcelona is colder in the winter than here normally, I lived there almost 2 years.

Damn i want snow like that...

Spain is located approx. the same latitude as Michigan-Ohio lol why is snow rare there? Michigan and Ohio in the USA get snow ALL through winter and are well below 13c throughout the winter period.

But Spain is normally a very sunny and warm country. It is also a fairly large country though.... Where I am is in the south, you can see across to Africa on a good day here.

Spain is little, but for example in north always snow, and in south NEVER. In some cities don't snow from more than 100 years ago. And for example yesterday snows at 400m of altitude here, and in North at the sea level in the beach of "la concha".

The ocean and seas surrounding Spain have a very huge temperate effect on the climate there. Michigan & Ohio are much farther inland, and although have the Great Lakes nearby (which does alter the climate to a degree) they will see much colder temperatures in Winter than a country like Spain.

Freezing is relative... I used to think 45 degrees F was cold. Now I long for it.

Its fucked up all over the world... in Serbia we have 15 celsius constant...and we usually have -15 celsius this time of the year,i want winter come back,this is fucked up,lol

around 0 c here in norway today. We had some snow, but the rain just ruined it :(
