Anyone else like Moulin Rouge?
 

Ok, my favorite movies are gangster flicks (Goodfellas, Casino, etc) but I don't know what's wrong. I can't stop watching this movie Moulin Rouge. Every single time it comes on cable I have to sit and watch it. I'm about to get the DVD too. I know you shouldn't admit to liking a musical. Maybe it's Nicole Kidman or just the songs they used and how they played it out, or maybe hypnotic subliminal messages in it that make it addictive. But I really love this movie. HELP!

I watched it once and it scared me. Had to go hide behind the sofa.

I have wanted to see that, but I always forget while I am at the vid store. Is it on hbo or showtime? Now you have me dying to see it!

Not my kind of movie, too much of a musical for my taste.

I do like Absinthe though, and this film had a little scene about it. :thumbsup

I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. I'm a big fan of musicals too.

LOL! Nah, nothin like that. Every other musical that I've seen pretty much sucks. But this is a really good movie for some reason. I never had the urge to go see it at the theater, but once I actually sat and watched it you see it's a good flick.

The movie was so-so, the first soundtrack album was good but the second soundtrack album rocks.

Its such a beautiful love story!

My daughter loves that flick. It is one of her favorite movies, she is 2. Strange taste in movies for a 2 year old.

My girlfriend really wanted to see that movie. I didn't have high hopes for the film because it looked weird and I'm not a big fan of musicals, but I enjoyed watching it. Much better then I thought it would be. With that being said, its not the type of movie I would enjoy watching over & over.

Watched it once at the movie theater then watched it a second time when I downloaded it for my girlfriend to see again. Twice is enough.

Ewan McGregor is a cutie...after seeing him show it all in many flicks such as Velvet Goldmine *not the mention the sex scene btw him and Christian Bale*drools** He has that *Im fuckable* attitude towards him

Yeah I hate musicals but thought Moulon Rouge was tops :thumbsup

I went from hating it to thinking it was pretty danm great. The theater where I saw it the first time really cranked up the THX sound system for the occasion. Probably not a good idea with that movie, and I left half way through because of a headache. Rented it when it came out on video and loved it.
