I agree with you man. I've had a big dog before and they LOVE playing rough. My dog use to kick my ass (I was 12) ROFL and LOVED it when I would play rough back.

Now, I've got 2 small dogs (dachshunds) and I play rough with them. Though nothing like kicks to the head or anything :1orglaugh but they love to be smacked around. If you watch them play, they bite each others ears and pull them down the fucking hall way.

People just need to mind their own fucking business. If you hear a dog yelping all the time like it's getting fucked up. Sure call the cops but otherwise stay the fuck out of pther people's koolaid.

ah, i agree with the fact you can play rough with your dog, or that you can play alpha when it call for it, but if i ever saw someone kick his dog in the head i'd be extremely upset, and most likely, it wouldn't have anything to do with the authorities.

I have always had big dogs, and I wrestel with them, and smack them around a bit, mostly while they try to take my arm off. But I have NEVER kicked one of my dogs. They are part of the family, and I treat them that way.

if someone at a dog park walked up to me and tried to phycically stop me from playing rough with my dogs they would get shot on the spot for putting their hands on me..... how can you say that kicking a dog you would do that... do you watch UFC? listen I don't back my dog in a corner tie him there and start beating him till he pisses blood...

American Pit Bulls are banned in the UK and rightly so. Vicious dogs. Recent cases in the UK of a two year old getting her face ripped off, and a 6 month old baby girl half eaten before the owner could do anything about it.

I had a Great Dane/Lab mix and I would wrestle with her and she loved it....we would play then we would spoon afterwards ;) A friend of mine had a Pitbull and he used to punch it and I always thought he was cruel until after interacting with enough Pitbulls myself, I realized that Pitbulls really do love to fight. It's part of their nature...afterall, they are called "Pit" bulls...The line is crossed when you hit them hard enough to inflict permanent/semi-permanent damage but a few semi-rough punches or slaps will only encourage them to play with you. You can't breed out generations of fighting and you shouldn't expect a Pitbull to act like a Lab....On the other hand, if you take it too far, don't complain when you are without a right arm for the rest of your life because when push comes to shove, the Pitbull is probably going to win :)

I have a St Bernard and she LOVES to rough house! She's blind too so can't see us but still knows when we're roughhousing it with her

We don't kick her, never would, that seems a little extreme imo, but they have all this energy and there's no 'pack' so they have to get it out somewhere!

he has taken my next door neighbor to court for dog barking... then when my 2 dogs moved in he installed this sound device in his yard that when my dog barks it emits a sound or something .... I have asked him to remove it because it's obvious that he just wants something to complain about in his old age.... I leave him alone... even when he is out there saying what ever it is he says I just ignore him... well today calling the authorities was the last straw.. who cares what I do in my backyard....

rightly so.... I didn't get rid of my pit when he caused me some stitches on my elbow... we were playing ... he got me... what can I do... I know that....

I see in that pic you posted you trust your dog completely. I wouldn't put my daughter in a position like that for $1 million. Pit Bulls are bred tough and are fighting dogs. It would only take your baby there to hit out with her arm for the dog to drag her around like a rag doll. You might be there but the damage to your kid, if she/he survived the attack, would last a lifetime.

I am not anti dogs. I think they are great. but there are certain species which should not be around kids, and pit bulls are one of the breeds in question.

Of course you have your rights to do whatever you want with your dogs. But how would you feel if it suddenly turned and bit your kids face off? Whether you are there or not, it only takes a couple of seconds to ruin your families life forever.
